Sometimes we Magpies come across a secret makeup product that is sooo good that we have to share it with our loyal readers. Our newest fave is so subtle that only you and your drugstore will know for sure – it’s L’Oréal’s Studio Secrets Professional MAGIC! Perfecting Base. It was developed by L’Oréal Paris International Creative Director James Kaliardos, who has worked miracles on the faces of Madonna and Gwen Stefani. You use this product as a base under all your face and eye makeup. Kaliardos says the base is a “small pot of retouching ‘magic’ that transforms fine lines and large pores into smooth, shine-free, soft-feeling areas of skin.” Basically, you put this cream under your foundation (if you use one), or your bronzer, and you won’t be a streaky mess at the end of the day – even during sweltering hot summer months. You can use it on your eyelids, and your eyeshadow will go on smoothly and stay there until you take it off. Dab it under your eyes, before putting on your concealer, and your eyes will look really bright and crinkle-free!  It can even be worn alone for a natural, flawless face.
