Alice+Olivia for Mac – Quite A Nice Pact!

You’ve got to hand it to Mac. Just when you think that there couldn’t possibly be another new lip color, great nail product, or hip promotion left to do…they come up with this! Alice+ Olivia ( which is definitely one of our top fave fashion companies out there) and its creator, Stacy Bendet, teamed up with Mac to create a limited edition makeup line that is creating quite a buzz! We must confess that we do have almost every new product that Mac comes out with because we think it’s a really great makeup line. However, this promotion has new colors that we haven’t seen before and we think you’re gonna love’em. We personally love the new lipgloss colors - in chartreuse, magenta and dusty pink!  They have a smooth, light consistency (Dazzleglass Créme Gloss) – they’re  not sticky but still create a great glossy look and are oh- so- pretty-glittery on!)

The new nail polish (we adore the turquoise ”Morning After”- obvs!) goes on really evenly, and stays really shiny and wet looking (like glass!) even after it dries!

The powder pigments (great new colors) are getting rave reviews also, although from our personal experience , you have to be really careful applying it  because otherwise it gets all over the place.  But apparently, you can use them wet and dry – so if you are proficient with an eyeliner brush, you could create many different looks. 

We’ve already added  some of  Mac’s Alice + Olivia limited collection to our own extensive makeup collection and we think you will be wanting to do so tool! This was a  great, new collaborative effort (not wack, Mac!)!  The only better collaboration that we could think of might be our other fave, Elizabeth and James teaming up with Ben and Jerry’s…but that might  be just be too much of a good thing.
